Jimmy Choo to Design Uggs Capsule Collection

Here’s something we never, ever, ever (seriously — NEVER) thought we’d say: We’re so psyched for the new UGG Boots collection!

Of course, these aren’t just any old UGG Boots. These are — drum roll please — Jimmy Choo UGG Boots. For real.

The luxury footwear label has announced that it has partnered with UGG Australia on a capsule collection of women’s sheepskin footwear, according to a statement.

Set to launch in October, the UGG & Jimmy Choo line — rumored to range in price from $595-$795 — will feature five shoe styles available in multiple colors, the press release says.

“Other than Jimmy Choo, UGG Australia is the only other footwear I have in my wardrobe,” Jimmy Choo president Tamara Mellon says. (Honey, we need to talk.)

“We are delighted to have created a special capsule that captures the best of both brands — the legendary comfort of UGG with the spirit of Jimmy Choo.”

“We are thrilled to be able to offer the Jimmy Choo and UGG customers a unique collection of boots that we believe our customers will covet,” seconded Connie X. Rishwain, UGG Australia’s president.

The collection will reportedly be sold at Jimmy Choo boutiques, online at each brand’s Website and at select department stores and specialty boutiques.

So, will Jimmy Choo be able to repeat the magical makeover it gave Hunter wellies? Or will the marshmallowy UGG style be more than they can handle?

And will we have to take back every snide remark we’ve ever made about UGG Boots? Only time will tell.
