The LBD!

Quite simply, this is a post about a dress…

This dress! I bought it from Mango for £25 instead of £50 in the sale a few days before I went to London and I’ve worn it a shamefully ridiculous amount of times already so I couldn’t not post about it! It’s such a classic versatile black dress with 3 quarter length sleeves, a foldover neckline, baggy on the torso with the added bonus of having pockets and then it becomes more fitted at the bottom around the bum and thighs. For me this dress just oozes effortless sophistication and you can dress it up for a meal or dress it down during the day. How did I wear it today? I’ll show you…

Coat: H&M. Dress: Mango. Tights: Primark. Shoes: Topshop. Scarf: Primark. Watch: Michael Kors. Bag: Mulberry.

Since I wasn’t going anywhere special and just wanted to nip into town to get a few skincare products (more on that in my next post) and I was feeling the cold today I decided to just keep it simple and pop on a black pea coat, checkered scarf and of course my Topshop Alley boots and then teamed it with my bag of the moment, my Mulberry Polly Push Lock. Perfect.

Honestly, you’ll probably be seeing this dress a lot in the future!

Ok ok so I lied, this isn’t JUST a post about a dress, there’s a few little things that need a mention…

~ Mac’s Patina Eyeshow: Ever since I bought this about a month and a half ago it’s been my go to shade for days when I need a bit of something on my eyes but really can’t be bothered. I just pop this on all over my lid, Shroom to highlight my brow bone and then a little bit of Knight Divine along my upper and lower lashline, apply mascara and viola! Finished!

~ Yankee Candle in Autumn Fruit: I’ve had this in my room for months because it’s purple and matches everything. I knew it smelt delicious but just never thought to light it until today…and you know what…it’s AMAZING! Think of the fruits on a black forest gateau, add sweet pears and grapes into the equation and that’s exactly what it’s like. Being in my bedroom is fruity heaven right now and I don’t want it to go away!
